Just full of love and happiness and joy. It was so moving to photograph these two and their sweet family, and I do hope I reflect that in their photographs!
The next series is “so” newborn, and so quickly passing that I’m thrilled we captured it!
LOVE this picture:
Oh these little darlings!
Melts my heart!!!
There are always unplanned, sweet moments in full newborn sessions, as in the following two. I know it’s the mom in my, but I few things are more precious to me than pictures of parents and their newborns.
Um, hello little miss stylin’!
We even got a couple pictures of the big brothers all by themselves!
And a couple family pictures, too…
Thank you so very much, G family, for letting me capture this moment in time. So very special you all are!
and they are adorable little feet, too! I had such much fun with this little guy today. He is a rock solid sleeper at (I believe) eight days old. Well, he’s a rock solid sleeper during the day, at least!
First try… he’s the perfect foot model!
My son did this, too:
Here’s the (rightfully) proud mommy and daddy!
I love the sweet little faces they make in the first weeks!
And I get to do pictures with him twice in the next year! I love my job!
I had a whole lot of fun exploring this house for fun photography spots! As you can see from the pictures, they’re a super cool family with a home full of bright color and genuine love.
How could I resist?
In some ways I’m glad that I have a boy – the clothes for girls are just too tempting!
These two pictures are some of my very most favorite newborn pictures. Something about them needs to be felt, not just seen.
And you can sit them in the spot, but you can’t force such a look of love:
I think that’s the cutest nickname ever, and this less-than-two-week-old already claimed it! She’s also already claimed quite an outgoing personality! Her big sister is quite taken by her, and watching that interaction was a lot of fun for a mama of just one.
And here’s little tin tin…
Since feedings and diaper changes are expected with newborns, it gives a little in between time to photograph the older siblings!
I just adore this one… I love when stuff like this just happens without planning it!
And how could I resist this?
I did mommy’s maternity pictures last month [one of my very favorite sessions ever], and it’s the best to see them go from expecting to parents. Oh my word, are they ever in love with this little guy. Who can blame them?
I just keep thinking that this session was so genuine. Maybe it’s the natural light, maybe it’s that mommy and daddy seemed to ease right into their roles, maybe it’s just that new life seems to stop everything for a bit.
Can you tell that daddy’s an IT guy? 🙂
